About our Team
 

The CE team, part of our Corporate Marketing group, aims to enhance customer loyalty, retention, and upsell value for a ~£300M revenue base. Operating in the Netherlands, Singapore, and London, the team specializes in improving solution benefits and customer relationships for Elsevier through engagement design, digital execution, and performance analysis.
 

About the Role
 

The Customer Engagement Manager will focus on driving commercial retention and account growth goals, community engagement, and advocacy. They will also support the customer's business case for renewal to the customer's buying committee. This role requires a data and design-focused mindset, utilizing diverse marketing tactics like value-driven engagement, user insights, and strategic partnerships. As part of the Corporate marketing group, this position is crucial in designing successful, customer-centric programs for customer and corporate market success.
 

Responsibilities

  • Optimizing and exploring new opportunities to engage our
  • corporate audience in a constantly evolving digital marketing
  • landscape, to support recurring renewals and maximize
  • customer retention via account growth opportunities
  • Defining and design successful user engagement and community
  • building strategies to drive awareness and adoption and build advocacy and
  • trusted partnerships by demonstrating that our solutions and services
  • positively impact research outcomes
  • Executing innovative marketing campaigns and partner with
  • product and marketing effectiveness teams to analyze date that
  • will improve our impact on stimulating awareness and usage at
  • scale across portfolio our Life Science and Engineering segments
  • Identifying, support and develop champions in our corporate community


Requirements

  • Experience in customer-centric program development, community
  • development and multi-channel digital experience
  • Experience in managing programs with multiple stakeholders and delivering results in a global matrixed organization
  • Proven analytical skills and experience in using evidence based
  • data for marketing activity decision making and performance reporting
  • Excellent communicator with verbal, written, interpersonal and
  • presentation skills
  • Strong customer focus. Experience in subscription
  • businesses and Life Sciences or Medical fields
