Job Description:
As a Customer Development Manager at Mars, you would be responsible for driving profitable, sustainable growth for Carrefour by partnering effectively with the customer, our distributor, and relevant Mars Associates. Similarly, you will act as a strategic driver of quality growth, leveraging customer planning, financial discipline, and insights to position Mars as the partner of choice within the Modern Trade channel.
What are we looking for?Ideally, you’ll have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Key Accounts or Business Development role, including strong experience in Field Sales Management.
You will hold a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree, while an MBA will be considered an added advantage.
We want someone who demonstrates key Mars leadership behaviors—specifically a strong focus on delivering results, ensuring accountability, collaborating cross-functionally, and maintaining a robust customer focus.
You should bring proven expertise in strategic selling, negotiation, customer planning, and applying financial judgment to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
Lead the delivery of Quality Growth for Carrefour by developing and executing short- and long-term customer plans that deliver sustainable, profitable volume and value growth.
Monitor plans closely and proactively course-correct through the demand planning process to ensure profitable delivery and excellent customer service levels.
Support effective channel revenue management by applying financial rigor and improving trade spend efficiency.
Build strong customer engagement, positioning Mars as the partner of choice through joint business plans (JBPs), business reviews, and high-level top-to-top meetings.
Partner and liaise closely with our Modern Trade Distributor teams to align goals and successfully deliver on our customer's business objectives.
