Customer Data Steward

The Sr. Data Steward is part of a team of data stewards supporting the Nissan Customer Data domain.  The primary focus of the Sr. Data Steward is to ensure that the customer data is accurate.  This is accomplished by implementing data quality rules to ensure the data is of a quality appropriate for its intended use.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure customer data accuracy and update.
• Develop and maintain data quality rules.
• Establish and support data quality metrics and KPIs.
• Assist stakeholders with data quality inquiries.
• Collaborate with the Enterprise Data Governance team for compliance.
• Lead compliance processes for customer data access.
• Support the customer database to ensure it is fit for purpose.
• Implement privacy controls and data curation practices.
• Develop and implement Master Data Management (MDM) rules.
• Support data merge processes within MDM tools.
• Work with data stewards to establish best practices.

Job Knowledge and Skills:

• Knowledge of data governance, quality, and privacy standards.
• Familiarity with data management principles.
• Experience in creating policies and procedures.
• Ability to resolve data issues with stakeholders and technical teams.

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business-related field.
• 5 years of experience in data quality and management projects.
• 2 years of experience in a data steward role.
• Advanced English level mandatory. Upper interme if he’s willing to learn

Relationship and Communication Skills:

• Ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to translate business needs into actionable plans.
• Ability to communicate technical insights to business stakeholders.

Travel Required?

• Occasionally. Having USA VISA is a plus.
