IXL Learning, developer of personalized learning products used by millions of people globally, is looking for a Customer Data Specialist. This role will support key accounts by providing data-driven insights to optimize IXL's implementation and benefits within schools and districts. #LI-CC1
Collaborating with Account Management, you will identify and fulfill the data requirements of our high-priority customers. This involves creating custom reports that effectively communicate IXL's impact on student and school performance. The successful candidate will possess strong data analysis and manipulation skills, attention to detail, organization, and excellent communication.
This is a full-time position in our San Mateo, CA headquarters office. The work schedule for this role is Monday-Friday in the office with the option to work from home one day per week.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING- Collect and analyze data from strategic district accounts to generate custom reports that illuminate IXL usage, student growth, and overall progress
- Develop a deep understanding of IXL's databases and refine processes for custom data reporting, collaborating with the Engineering team on intricate data requests
- Partner with Marketing and Product teams to align customer reports with IXL's product messaging and brand identity
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, data analytics, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in a similar role (e.g., data analyst, data-driven customer success, or marketing)
- Proven analytical skills, including the ability to translate complex data requests into clear reports and visualizations
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets; experience with R or Python is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication, and proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze ideas, ask insightful questions, and make sound decisions aligned with company needs and values
- Experience managing confidential customer data
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The base salary range for this full-time position is $75,000 to $85,000 + benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
