About Us:

Notion helps you build beautiful tools for your life’s work. In today's world of endless apps and tabs, Notion provides one place for teams to get everything done, seamlessly connecting docs, notes, projects, calendar, and email—with AI built in to find answers and automate work. Millions of users, from individuals to large organizations like Toyota, Figma, and OpenAI, love Notion for its flexibility and choose it because it helps them save time and money.

In-person collaboration is essential to Notion's culture. We require all team members to work from our offices on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, our designated Anchor Days. Certain teams or positions may require additional in-office workdays.

About the Role:

Notion is used by over 100 million people worldwide — from founders building their first company to Fortune 500 teams rethinking how they work. We believe the best things were never built alone, and that AI should make teams stronger, not replace them. We call it Think Together. And we want to tell that story through the lens of the customers living it every day.

We're looking for a Customer Content Marketing Lead to own the way Notion tells customer stories — across every format, surface, and region. This is one of the most visible and impactful roles in marketing right now, and it's a top priority for our CEO and leadership team.

We can't think of any company with more potential to create beautiful, compelling, and valuable customer stories than Notion. You'll have the backing of a world-class creative team, a brand people genuinely love, and a customer base full of teams doing remarkable things with AI — from building the future of fashion, to reimagining 125-year-old enterprises, to powering cultural institutions. The stories are already there. We need someone who can bring them to life.

This is a builder role. You'll work alongside a small team, but you'll have the full weight of Notion behind you — creative, product marketing, regional teams, storytelling, and demand gen. The only thing that truly matters is shipping amazing work.

What You'll Achieve:
  • Create the stories that prove Notion's place in the world. Own customer storytelling end-to-end — from identifying the right customers and crafting the narrative, to producing the final asset across written, video, web, and emerging formats. These are the marquee case studies, the campaign hero stories, the proof points that shift how the market sees Notion.

  • Ship a rapid cadence of world-class customer content. Not one story a quarter — a drumbeat. You'll work with the team to build the production engine that makes this sustainable.

  • Think in campaigns, not just individual stories. Package customer stories into something bigger — connecting them to product launches, brand moments, and the broader Fortune 5M narrative. One story is great. Telling them together is powerful.

  • Design the story engine for a global team. Build the playbooks, templates, and infrastructure that help regional teams across EMEA and APAC tell their own customer stories at a high bar — and know which stories to tell.

  • Help customers tell their own stories. Some of our most authentic content comes from helping customers share their Notion journey on their own channels. You'll pioneer and scale this motion.

  • Own the surfaces where customer stories live. From notion.com/customers to sales enablement materials to event content — you'll make sure the best stories show up where they matter most.

  • Collaborate deeply across Notion. You'll work hand-in-hand with the Storytelling team on social and editorial formats, with PMM on narrative and launch priorities, with Demand Gen on programs and events, with regional marketing on local stories, and with performance and lifecycle marketing to distribute stories across channels.

Skills You'll Need to Bring:
  • You're an incredible writer. Full stop. Whether it's a customer story, a creative brief, a video script, or copy for the customers page — every word matters, and you know how to make them count.

  • You have strong visual taste and design aptitude. You don't need to be a designer, but you need to know what good looks and feels like. You can sketch a storyboard, wireframe a page, or mock up a rough concept that brings your idea to life. You have the vision to make sure the final product is beautiful.

  • You ship. You own projects end-to-end and move fast. Process is a means to an end — the end is shipping work that makes people feel something.

  • You think in campaigns. You see how individual stories connect into something bigger — a narrative, a moment, a movement. You can package and sequence stories to multiply their impact.

  • You are plugged into the ecosystem and the zeitgest - and you offer a trusted lens into sourcing and scoping high-gravity moments of storytelling.

  • You don’t need to be an AI expert, but you’re curious and willing to adopt AI tools to work smarter and deliver better results.

  • You have 10+ years of relevant and transferrable experience.

Nice to Haves:
  • You've produced amazing content across multiple mediums — video, written, web, social and understand what makes each format sing.

  • You've worked globally or across regions and understand how to enable local teams to tell great stories within a shared framework.

  • You're hungry. When you see the list of customers and opportunities ahead of you, you can't wait to get started. You'll work hard because you genuinely want to — the work is that good.

We hire talented and passionate people from a variety of backgrounds because we want our global employee base to represent the wide diversity of our customers. If you’re excited about a role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every bullet point listed in the job description, we still encourage you to apply. If you’re a builder at heart, share our company values, and enthusiastic about making software toolmaking ubiquitous, we want to hear from you.
