Job Description:
This role will be a part of Mars Snacking team.
Partner with Customers to drive the Category Leadership agenda and deliver sustainable growth for Mars and Customers. Leverage local analyses and Customer and Shopper trends and insights to tailor and deploy Category Vision, PICOFS, etc. in a quality way.
What are we looking for?Degree calibre with sales / category / data or retail management background, with strong customer, trade marketing or category management experience within FMCG
Previous experience in a customer facing role with strong track record of strategy deployment, customer collaboration and category-first mindset
Proven ability to stand alone, influence others without authority and deliver results.
Previous experience of converting insights to action and in using compelling selling techniques to persuade & influence action from others.
Proven ability to build strong collaborative relationships with Customers to drive sustainable growth for all Parties.
Ability to analyse large volumes of complex information, interpret & construct straightforward plans
Attention to detail
Strong understanding of Customer/Category Management
Confident in communicating and influencing at all levels of an organization
Knowledge of the Retail Landscape and Syndicated Data (Nielsen/IRI/A2, Panel Data, Profitero)
Advanced usage of Excel and PowerPoint
Strong oral, written communication, and presentation skills
Deliver and deploy country and customer category vision
Embed the tailored category vision as the basis for category, portfolio and activation plans
Localize Perfect Store program with Perfect Store Manager to set execution strategy: Next Best Line, Picture of Success design
Work closely with Sales team to align & deploy omnichannel customer plans (according to Customer needs) including best assortment, merchandising priorities, key activities
Prepare Customer specific planograms using relevant PICOFS
Provide inputs to S&OP+ cycle forums & support Portfolio & Activation re: market/Customer specific needs & requirements
Deliver Category selling story/1D activation story adjusted to customers incl. translation
Drive category projects with priority customers
Leverage Global Category Vision and Regional Perfect Store Playbook to deliver country and customer-level Category Leadership
Inspire, motivate and influence a cross functional array of internal stakeholders to embed & deploy country & customer category vision and PICOFS in the Cluster.
Partner with Key Accounts and priority Customers to deliver omnichannel customer plans.
Contribute to an engaged category team driven by the best talents in the industry
The individual will need to manage multiple stakeholders from Key Accounts, Field Sales, Cluster Category & Perfect Store, Business Analyst, Activation, Portfolio, European Category Teams while staying closely involved in the overall Nordics Category Leadership agenda
The role will require a high level of agility – the incumbent will be required to understand how to get things done internally while keeping focus on external metrics to deliver quality growth for Mars and Customers.
