This is a remote, field-based role to be located in Northern California.
Reporting to a Sales Director, you will lead the implementation of planning at the account level for C&S West and Northern California independent retailers including Nugget Markets and other indirect and direct accounts, focusing on total volume, profit and share growth for our entire portfolio of Grocery, Snacks, Frozen and Refrigerated brands. You will manage the business plan to meet all volume, profit and share goals while implementing brand strategies with the customers by working with decision makers and internal partners and using consumer insights and category management programs to guide customer decisions. This is a great opportunity if you have experience leading headquarter sales calls and are looking to advance your Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sales career.
A Taste of Your Responsibilities
- Develop the annual plan for the customer and present internally to gain agreement on important opportunities for growth
- Lead the joint business planning process with the customer with a focus on strategic expertise in the categories they represent
- Develop trade promotion strategies and tactical plans with the customers
- Monitor and update the customer's overall business plans, including managing trade budgets, spending and volume, to achieve all sales goals versus plan
- Conduct category business reviews to discuss the state of the business, consumer trends, important business influencers and incremental opportunities
- Use category management practices to link consumer and shopper trends to actionable opportunities
- Develop accurate monthly forecasts to maximize supply chain efficiencies by tracking shipments, consumption data and inventory changes and identifying potential risks
Ingredients Required for Your Success
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5+ years of CPG industry sales experience, including field sales and headquarters roles
- Experience conducting meetings at the Senior Buyer level with customers
- Experience managing trade budgets, spending and volume
- Experience managing a profit and loss (P&L) statement
- Knowledge of supply chain processes and strong negotiation skills
- Experience working with a distributor is a plus

Compensation
Pay Range:$109,000-$159,000The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
