This role is open at both Associate and Senior Associate levels. Responsibilities, scope, and expectations will be aligned to experience.

About The Team

You will join our Customer Base Sales and Sales Development team selling into enterprise level clients across the world. You will work inside our Sales & Marketing function with a core focus on opportunity creation and demand generation. About The Person

You are a team player with a positive can-do attitude and entrepreneurial mindset. Ideally, you have a strong understanding of Workday and or other HR and Finance platforms.  You are located near our sales hub in Belfast or Indianapolis, and are happy to go into the office 1-2 days a week.

You thrive in a dynamic fast-moving environment that is constantly adapting to change. Willingness to travel at least once per quarter for client visits, conferences, and user groups. This person flourishes in a quota driven, highly competitive, high performance environment. You pose the ability to plan and prioritise your time effectively to meet deadlines in accordance with business and customer requirements.

Essential Requirements:

  • Sales Experience: Minimum of 1 year Sales Development experience in SaaS sales; generating opportunities that are qualified in partnership with a Sales Executive or Account Manager. Experience partnering with AEs and or AD to create a territory plan that defines whitespace, ICP and target accounts. Outreach to new or existing customers, confident in sales development techniques, and use of tech stack including Sales Nav, Zoom Info, Marketo and conducting discovery calls. Experience engaging the office of CHRO or CFO (HR / HRIT and Finance Leaders). Engaging multiplatform approach to engage busy executives
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, active listening, written, verbal articulation and presentation skills with proven capability to conduct Discovery calls and identify pain points that match to our value-based proposal.
  • Educational Background or Professional Experience: Minimum Bachelor’s degree with concentration in Arts, Science, Business, Information Technology, or more significant professional sales experience than stated above
  • Proficiency in Dynamics 365 or other CRM (SFDC, HubSpot etc.).

Desirable

  • Workday certified or selling into Workday customers or HRIS and Finance.
  • Experience in creating Account Plans, segmenting product whitespace, defining wallet share, using tech stack such as Zoom info and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Inside sales, sales development, or account management

About The Job

Identifying opportunity to grow ARR and product installation within an existing base of customers in your defined territory. You will be the first Sales Development lead for our customer base across a set of defined Accounts Globally. You will work in partnership with a group of highly experienced account managers who will work in close partnership with you providing 1:1 mentorship and a close knit group of peers to work alongside. This role will have the opportunity to develop the Customer Base Sales Development function and provides room for growth as the function expands.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering against monthly, quarterly and annual individual (revenue and activity) in the pursuit of generating qualified pipeline
  • Account Planning with Account Managers and Directors on prospecting and opportunity qualification activities - Working independently to engage and generate opportunity from initial Discovery to Qualification
  • Understanding buyer persona challenges as they relate to Workday, actively listen, build trust, articulate their challenges, and propose potential solutions
  • Collaborate with the Customer Base Marketing Manager, Account Managers, Directors VP to assist in the creation and execution of demand generation
  • Built out the playbook for future Customer Base SDRs to follow.
