Job Description Summary
Provide accurate and timely customer account support in a manufacturing and regulated environment. Responsible for order processing, shipping and inventory reporting, and customer communication to ensure accurate billing, shipments, and positive customer experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Enter, maintain, and update customer orders and data in the ERP system (JD Edwards/Oracle preferred).
- Review daily production, receipt, and shipment documentation for accuracy.
- Provide production, inventory, and shipment reporting to customers.
- Reconcile inventory discrepancies between internal systems and customer systems.
- Support end‑of‑month reporting and billing accuracy.
- Process customer shipping orders and verify inventory availability.
- Ensure DOT‑regulated Bills of Lading and Safety Data Sheets (SDS) accompany shipments.
- Communicate shipping instructions to internal teams and carriers.
- Respond to customer inquiries professionally and participate in routine customer calls.
- Maintain organized documentation per company and customer requirements.
- Serve as backup support for other Customer Account team members.
Required Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Customer service or administrative experience.
- Experience in a manufacturing or regulated environment.
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably JD Edwards/Oracle.
- Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
Starting at $22.00 per hour.
Hours: 8am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday
