Management Level: 07 - Manager Location: Bangalore / Gurgaon Must have skills: Backend Development (.NET / Golang / Java / Node.js), Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Relational Databases (PostgreSQL / MySQL), Unit & Integration Testing, hands-on experience with AI coding tools (Cursor / Claude), Stakeholder Management, People Management Good to have skills: Frontend Development (React / Angular / HTML) Experience: Minimum 10 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification: B.Tech / BE Job Summary: As a Software Prod & Plat Eng Manager, you will own client delivery for the Accenture LearnVantage (ALV) product while remaining hands-on in code. You will lead a small, high-performing, AI-enabled team, translate ambiguous requirements from internal and external stakeholders into actionable work, and drive quality end-to-end. This is not a task-distribution role - you are expected to be a go-getter who builds alongside the team. Roles & Responsibilities: Own client delivery for assigned ALV workstreams (e.g., Citizens and ad-hoc projects such as ATCI) with accountability for timelines and quality. Stay hands-on: design, build, review, and ship backend services; set the technical bar through your own code. Manage stakeholders across internal and external teams - converting ambiguous requirements into clear, actionable deliverables. Directly manage and grow a team (backend/frontend or full-stack) - mentoring, planning, and performance management. Lead an AI-enabled team; champion the adoption of AI development tools (Cursor / Claude) to raise productivity and quality. Enforce engineering discipline: unit/integration testing, code reviews, and CI/CD. Professional & Technical Skills: Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in at least one backend stack (.NET / Golang / Java / Node.js). Strong hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and relational databases (PostgreSQL / MySQL). First-hand experience writing unit and integration tests. Proven stakeholder management and people management skills. Minimum 1 year of experience using AI coding tools (Cursor / Claude); evidence of championing these tools at their org/unit. Prior experience managing a team of at least 3 people. Comfortable working in a MacBook (macOS) professional environment. Good to have: working knowledge of frontend development (React / Angular / HTML). Additional Information: The ideal candidate is a strong hands-on engineer and a go-getter who leads by building, not just delegating. Proven ability to lead an AI-enabled team and coordinate across cross-functional and client teams in ambiguous environments. This position is based at our Bangalore / Gurgaon office.
