Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the development of custom software solutions that are designed to meet specific business needs. Your typical day will involve collaborating with team members to design, code, and enhance various components across systems or applications. You will utilize modern frameworks and agile practices to ensure that the solutions you deliver are scalable and high-performing, contributing to the overall success of the projects you are involved in. Roles & Responsibilities: Expected to be an SME in SharePoint & Power Platform. Collaborate and manage the team to perform & responsible for team decisions Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications Conduct unit testing, and performance tuning to ensure high-quality deliverables. Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities. Provide guidance and support to the team Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Professional & Technical Skills: Required: Proficient in Microsoft 365 SharePoint Online development, with strong knowledge of both Online and On-premises environments. Experienced in designing, developing, configuring, and maintaining SharePoint solutions. Familiarity with SharePoint OOTB functionalities & help configure basic site settings, navigation, and web parts. Knowledge of permissions, sharing settings, and version history in SharePoint. Troubleshoot access and sync issues in SharePoint. Experience with Power Platforms, including app development in Power Apps and creating various flows in Power Automate. Migrate legacy SharePoint environments to SharePoint Online utilizing third-party tools such as Sharegate. Hands on experience in developing web parts and extensions using the SharePoint Framework. Familiarity with SharePoint integration with other Microsoft 365 tools or Third-Party tools. Desirable to have: Experienced in PowerShell or PnP PowerShell to perform CRUD operations, permission management, scheduling automation tasks etc. Nice to have: Familiarity with Microsoft Azure Portal and core services, Azure Functions/Logic Apps. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Microsoft 365 SharePoint Online Development. - This position is based at our Pune office. - A 15 years full time education is required.15 years full time education
