Required Skills and Knowledge

Position Summary
Work as part of a Custom Engineering Team of software and hardware engineers to write, port, and test device I/O drivers and applications for a Real-Time Linux OS environment. Integrate and test existing drivers and applications, ensuring quality and performance. Collaborate with other teams, including Application Engineering and Manufacturing, while also demonstrating the ability to work independently. Debug and resolve both internal and customer issues with a strong emphasis on providing high-quality support and services.
Essential Duties:
- Execute custom engineering projects focused on Linux Kernel and I/O device software and hardware, with a particular emphasis on aerospace and automotive applications.
- Provide technical support for both software and hardware to internal and external stakeholders.
- Innovate and develop solutions for complex design challenges, considering all system-level aspects.
- Translate product needs into engineering feasibility studies, ensuring alignment with multi-disciplinary requirements.
- Enhance the technical knowledge base of the team and mentor other engineers.
- Collaborate effectively across departments to maintain strong working relationships.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and tools.
Salary: $90K to $103K base salary. No bonus available
