RESPONSIBILITY LEVEL:
This position is responsible for Product Management of the Air Handling Systems. Provides leadership in product management and programs to support market development. This position assists in leading the Custom Air Handling Product Line activities in alignment with strategies while creating value with our product offerings.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
People Leadership
Lead and develop a high-performing, engaged team.

Product Management
Own product line performance, including revenue, profitability, and key business metrics.
Analyze market trends, forecasts, market share, and competitor activity.
Drive cost reduction and profit improvement initiatives.
Maintain business plans and competitive analyses.
Sales & Customer Engagement
Partner with customers and sales teams to define market and product requirements.
Develop sales tools, training materials, and customer collateral.
Support customer meetings, jobsite visits, and key account opportunities.
Coordinate product training with regional and national teams.
Marketing & Product Launches
Support product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies.
Maintain marketing and sales enablement tools.
Support product launches, transitions, and promotional activities.
Product Strategy & Roadmap
Manage the product roadmap and lifecycle strategy.
Identify market gaps, growth opportunities, and competitive actions.
Drive product enhancements, extensions, and value-engineering initiatives.
Recommend product introductions, upgrades, and phase-out plans.
Pricing & Profitability
Support pricing strategy and cost management initiatives.
Monitor margins, cost trends, and profitability drivers.
Ensure pricing tools and sales systems remain accurate.
Business Planning & Competitive Analysis
Gather customer, market, and competitive intelligence.
Develop business cases and requirements for new products and enhancements.
Lead or support cross-functional product development projects.

Partner with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve challenges.
Support prioritization of high-impact business opportunities.

Lead or support strategic initiatives that drive product line growth and business performance.
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
4+ years of relevant experience
At least 2 years of strong familiarity with HVAC equipment and systems in product or program management, marketing, applications, or sales
Must be technically savvy, possessing strong knowledge of field sales and business practices relating to the identified products.
Presenting to executive level leadership
Experience with financial statements
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) as well as Internet software and E-mail
Ability to travel is required 20%

MBA
Ability to envision and introduce creative tools for fast and effective interaction with the field combining high technical complexity and commercial interests in a seamless and user-friendly manner would be a significant plus.
SALARY RANGE: $85,000 - $115,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This role offers a competitive Bonus plan that will take into account individual, group, and corporate performance. This position includes a competitive benefits package.
