As an Asset Servicing Analyst in the Global Custody Asset Servicing and Proxy Support team, you manage the full lifecycle of corporate action events and ensure accurate proxy voting for clients. You work closely with middle office teams, client service managers, and product partners to deliver timely and efficient issue resolution. Job responsibilities
- Manage the entire lifecycle of corporate action events from announcement to completion
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of controls, checks, instructions, and queries on a daily basis.
- Review and, where necessary, update existing processes or procedures to minimize risk and improve the operational environment.
- Reconcile, validate votes from Proxy vendors.
- Take full responsibility for adherence to all departmental procedures, policies, checkpoints, and controls.
- Provide proactive follow up on any client's queries and/or escalations
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor's degree
- Effective communication skill to build relationship with both external and internal stakeholders
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Proven experience in driving various process enhancements and digital tools initiatives globally and regionally
- Maintain high attention to detail with risk associated to the process
- Experience of communicating both oral and written to management, clients and colleagues
- Flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work and comfortable to deal with pressure and fast-paced environment
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Prior experience in asset servicing, corporate actions, proxy voting, custodian operations or settlement will be a plus
- Prior background in Financial Services industry will be an advantage
