Summary
A Curriculum Graphic Designer is a creative problem solver who uses a variety of tools to design attractive, informative, and effective print and digital materials, promotional assets, and educational resources.
This position will allow one to impact others through a service mindset centered on making an eternal difference. Responsibilities
- Promote the mission and standards of Answers in Genesis.
- Create a SERVE culture environment in all work done.
- Approach all tasks with a second mile mindset.
- Prioritize personal integrity in all interactions and assignments.
- Apply established brand guidelines to create engaging educational materials for a variety of projects and audiences, including books, activity pages, posters, and presentation slides.
- Update and repurpose existing designs with new information to create promotional materials and advertisements.
- Create new branding and theming for products and resources.
- Design a variety of print and promotional products, collaborating with vendors to ensure high-quality production and final delivery.
- Maintain a consistent brand identity and visual presence across all promotional channels.
- Develop marketing materials that effectively promote products and resources through compelling messaging and clear calls to action.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements

- Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Regularly attends a local Bible-believing church.
- Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Familiarity with workflow and collaboration platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Dropbox, ClickUp, and similar tools.
- Advanced skills in design principles, including layout, visual hierarchy, information architecture, typography, color theory, and readability.
- Strong understanding of branding principles and the ability to apply them to create cohesive, effective marketing materials.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand standards across all deliverables.
- Ability to create user-centered designs that maximize engagement.
- Advanced problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex content into clear, engaging, and visually effective layouts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Resourcefulness and self-motivation, including the ability to research solutions, take initiative, and move projects forward with minimal supervision.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Recent two years of professional graphic design experience.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating creative problem-solving, technical proficiency, brand consistency, and effective visual communication.
