The Curriculum Coordination Office, part of the Office of Academic Records and Registrar, is a customer-centered organization ideally positioned to assist faculty develop innovative curriculum across the various schools of the university. The Curriculum Coordination Office works collaboratively with key academic liaisons and faculty to ensure consistency and integrity in our programs. The Office of Academic Records and Registrar seeks a Curriculum Analyst to provide specialized curriculum services and to assist the Curriculum Administrator with a variety of administrative and program functions. This position is responsible for testing and evaluating the effectiveness of existing curriculum content and services regarding academic programs. The Curriculum Analyst reviews program and course proposals submitted by academic units for technical accuracy and various University policy considerations and interfaces with faculty and other academic professionals. Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Reviews curriculum proposals, policies, and issues arising thereof, in collaboration with the curriculum team
  • Evaluates and offers technical analysis of curriculum proposals to two of four subcommittees; coordinates subcommittee meetings when necessary
  • Provides guidance to departments and subcommittees on curricular questions via phone, email and in-person meetings
  • Serves as the liaison between Curriculum and Catalogue, especially regarding the mapping of data flow from the curriculum to catalogue management systems (CurriculogTM and AcalogTM)
  • Trains users on the curriculum management system (CurriculogTM) and university curriculum procedures
  • Ensures the curriculum management system workflow and approval processes are functioning properly; acts as one of only a few System Administrators
  • Coordinates the review process for overseas and off-campus studies programs and courses
  • Updates all published materials related to the curriculum review process and policies; helps maintain the curriculum website and all related documentation

The hourly range for this position is $30.00 - $37.00.
