Job Description
You will work as part of the Automated Trading Strategist (ATS) front-office team on the Currencies and Emerging Markets (CEM) trading floor in Singapore with primary focus on Emerging Markets (EM) Rates (government bonds and interest rate swap).
As an Associate in the ATS team, you will be responsible, independent and able to work in smooth coordination with the larger team. The group is globally distributed. The environment is fast-paced and challenging. You are also expected to cover a wide range of responsibilities as ATS staff cross over between trading, quantitative analysis and technology.
Job Responsibilities

  • Analysis of data to identify patterns and revenue opportunities
  • Designing trading and execution strategies
  • Researching micro-patterns and trends
  • Building, maintaining and upgrading applications & tools
  • Supporting day-to-day trading & resolving day-to-day trading issues
  • Formulation, analysis and back testing of pricing, execution, risk management strategies and trading signals
  • Expanding the group's library of modeling, analytics and automation tools


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science or other quantitative fields
  • At least 3 years of experience in electronic market making
  • Excellent research skills
  • Attention to detail, adaptable and hungry to learn
  • Good programming skills in any language


Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Interest in market microstructures and quantitative trading
  • Experience in manipulating large amounts of data
  • Advanced degree (e.g. PhD) or any track record of conducting original research
