Requirements and Nature of Work:

As a lab demonstrator, you are responsible for the supervision of lab sessions (3.5 hours each), during which you will be expected to give short presentations to the students as well as evaluate their lab performance.  Duties also include the correction of lab reports for all of your respective lab sections as well as the supervision of one introductory lab session during the first week of the course (no marking for intro sessions).  Duties also include answering emails from students.  Implementation of safety Guidelines in the laboratory

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor of Biochemistry or equivalent;

Experimental knowledge of biochemical techniques;

Successful completion of WHIMIS and Occupational Health and Safety workshops.
