Hourly Rate:

AE-RA-Tuteur / TA-RA-Tutor : $31.89 ou/or $50.25 (2024-2025)

The academic year starts on September 1 and ends on August 31.

Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; while graduate students will be paid at the higher rate.

These rates do not included vacation pay nor statutory pay.

These rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified. Retro will be paid after the ratification.

Minimum qualifications 

Bonne compréhension des concepts de marketing;

Moyenne cumulative minimale (C.G.P.A.) de 7,0;

Capacité à appliquer des grilles de correction et à fournir une rétroaction claire et structurée;

Capacité à respecter des échéanciers stricts et à gérer efficacement sa charge de travail;

Note minimale de A- dans ADM2320 ou l’équivalent, et avoir complété au moins deux autres cours en marketing;

Expérience démontrée avec Brightspace requise;

Bonne connaissance du système de marketing canadien requise;

Expérience en enseignement en ligne considérée comme un atout;

Expérience avec les plateformes de vidéoconférence (p. ex. Microsoft Teams) considérée comme un atout;

Comments

La préférence sera accordée aux personnes étudiantes inscrites à un programme de Telfer.

La préférence sera accordée aux candidats ayant déjà occupé un poste d’assistant(e) d’enseignement ou de correcteur(trice) pour ce cours.

La préférence sera accordée aux candidats qui auront complété d’autres cours de marketing 

et qui détiennent de l’expérience de correcteur en ADM 2720 ou les autres cours de marketing; 

Les étudiants, dont la candidature sera retenue, devront réussir une entrevue avec le professeur/coordinateur du cours. 

Veuillez noter que les heures affichées pour ce poste pourraient être augmentées de 10% à 30% dépendant de l'inscription.

Les heures de contrat peuvent être réaffectées entre différentes tâches, que l’enseignant peut ajuster au cours du semestre.

Doit être présent à Ottawa pendant toute la durée du cours (à l'exception des jours fériés officiels de l'université), y compris pendant la correction de l'examen final et le calcul des notes finales par le professeur.

Skills Required

  • Good understanding of marketing concepts
  • Work language: French
  • Minimum cumulative GPA 7.0
  • Ability to apply grading rubrics and provide clear, structured feedback
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage workload effectively
  • Minimum grade of A- in ADM2320 or equivalent
  • Completed at least two other marketing courses
  • Demonstrated experience with Brightspace
  • Good knowledge of the Canadian marketing system
  • Access to a computer, Internet, microphone and camera
  • Must be present in Ottawa for the duration of the course
  • Experience teaching online
  • Experience with videoconference platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams)
  • Preference for students enrolled in Telfer programs
  • Preference for candidates with prior TA or grader experience for this course
  • Preference for candidates who have completed other marketing courses and have graded ADM2720 or other marketing courses
