Position Description
The primary role of the School Culture Coordinator is to support the Principal and school team with student and parent communications, student culture and restorative practices, and student safety and health.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate restorative practice systems and support and communicate with staff on student behavior issues
- Sustain and monitor a safe, orderly, and joyful culture of high academic and behavioral standards
- Supervise students during lunch, nutrition and passing periods
- Provide active supervision of students during walking transitions to and from Physical Education (PE) classes, ensuring student safety and reinforcing school-wide behavioral expectations (middle school only)
- Communicate with families on a regular and consistent basis
- Administer medications to students as needed
- Assist in the development of structures and systems to assist in building consistency within the student culture
- Provide the necessary support to faculty so that they can help administer the school’s policies
- Act as lead for student referrals, student health, and injuries
- Help communicate and reset students having difficulty with behavior in the classroom
- Complete other tasks as assigned by the Principal or Assistant Principal

Minimum Requirements
- Previous experience working with high school students
- A strong belief that all students can succeed
- Bilingual Spanish speaker required
- BA degree strongly preferred, AA required
- CPR Certification required within 60 days of hire
Salary and benefits
This is a full-time, hourly position with benefits. Salary starting at $21/hour
