HR Generalist (Temporary)
Salary: $28.32 hourly

QualificationsSUMMARY:
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for delivering a broad range of HR services that support the operational and strategic goals of the Colville Tribal Healthcare Authority. This role performs and provides guidance in areas such as recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, HR policy, and compliance. The HR Generalist acts as a trusted advisor to leaders and team members, ensuring HR practices are applied consistently and effectively across the organization.
Minimum Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, psychology, or related discipline and 2 (two) years of experience in a human resources function is required. Other combinations of higher education and extended experience may substitute for the degree when it demonstrates the ability to fulfill the requirements of the position
- Knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices
Note: Pursuant to Tribal Policy, if this position is safety sensitive it is subject to pre-employment drug testing. In addition, this position is subject to reasonable suspicion and post-accident drug testing.

If required of this position, you must possess and maintain a valid Washington State driver’s license and be eligible for the Tribes’ Vehicle Insurance. In addition, this position may be subject to pre-employment background clearances. If applicable, these clearances must be maintained throughout employment.

Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, psychology, or related discipline (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

What We Do
The Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation is a sovereign tribal government representing twelve bands in northeastern Washington. The Tribe manages roughly 1.4 million acres (about 2,100 square miles), provides government services, natural-resource stewardship, and member programs, and supports tribal enterprises and public services for thousands of enrolled members, operating a multi‑program administration that employs over a thousand people.
