Job Description

Details: Nights, 4 10 hour shifts a week, work every other weekend.

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Under general supervision, specializes in the performance of computerized tomographic radiological procedures on patients. May perform general diagnostic radiology examinations. Performs related duties as required.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.

Must maintain the required hours of continued education.

Healthcare Provider certification required. (BCLS)

BLS Provider obtained within one (1) month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.

American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:

One or more of the following:

Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

NMTCB (CD Computed Tomography Specialty Certification or ARRT(CT) Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography required in addition to CNMT Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification.

Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Must be registered in Computer Tomography within 12 months of date of hire.

Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy specialty also accepted.

Skills Required

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Maintain required continuing education hours
  • Healthcare Provider certification, including BCLS/BLS
