CT Technologist - CT SCAN at St Jude Medical Center. This position is Per Diem and will work 10-hour Variable Shifts
Under the general supervision of the Manager Diagnostic imaging or Supervisor CT Scan, the CT Technologist will perform a variety of computerized tomography (CT) procedures using the proper radiation safety practices. Performs various CT procedures according to accepted department protocols and hospital policies and procedures. Performs a variety of CT procedures for patients of any age group for diagnostic purposes according to department, hospital, and regulatory agency standards. Assist Radiologist and referring physicians as needed to perform CT procedures. In addition, the CT Technologist will work closely with the radiologists, other modalities, inpatient and outpatient CT departments, and will serve as a liaison to scheduling and referring physician offices.

Required Qualifications:
- Coursework/Training: Must maintain required continuing education hours necessary to renew license/certification.
- Upon hire: California Radiologic Technologist.
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
- Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography.
- Must have minimum of 2 years hospital clinical experience from accredited Radiology program.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology from an approved AMA school.
