This position is for a CT Technologist whose responsibility is to provide direct patient care related to radiology services, in accordance with accreditation standards, federal, state, and local regulations, organizational and departmental policies and procedures and professional standards. Provides safe and efficient imaging to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient populations. Responsible for the supervision of professional or skilled personnel. The position reports to the Director of Imaging Services.
Qualifications
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum level of Education: Education level equivalent to completion of a two-year radiology technology program.
- Formal Training: Preferred to be able to operate the following imaging services machines proficiently within three months of employment: Portable X-ray Machines, C-Arm, and PACS system.
- Licensure, Certifications & Registration: American Registered Radiologic Technologist status. Current BLS provider Certification required.
- Work Experience: CT clinical competency required.
Skills Required
- Completion of a two-year radiology technology program or equivalent education
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) provider certification
- CT clinical competency
- Proficiency operating portable X-ray machines, C-Arm, and PACS within three months of employment
