Performs CT imaging by demonstrating anatomy for interpretation and/or intervention by, or at the request of a licensed practitioner. Exercises professional judgement in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics. Available for call as requested. Applies appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.
QualificationsEducation/Certification:
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology or registry eligible.
If eligible for ARRT(R), must acquire ARRT(R) within specified guidelines of ARRT. Then, must achieve ARRT(R)(CT) within 18 months of hire.
BLS required.
Experience:
Prefer at least 1 year of CT experience.
Skills Required
- Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or ARRT-eligible; must obtain ARRT and ARRT(CT) within specified timelines (ARRT(CT) within 18 months of hire).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- CT imaging experience (prefer at least 1 year).
