+ Duties and Responsibilities
- Process invoices and related transactions according to documented policies and procedures.
- Monitor and manage assigned Accounts Payable Aging, including prepayments, unvouchered receipts, and vendor returns.
- Obtain approvals and documentation for AP invoices on time.
- Prepare bi-weekly check runs.
- Reconciling accounts payable accounts to vendor statements and resolving discrepancies.
- Communicating with vendors about payment status, invoice requests, and other inquiries.
- Interdepartmental communication with supply chain and warehouse to resolve and research variances.
- Perform AP related month-end closing tasks.
- Assist with vendor file management and setup, ensuring accuracy of information and retention of required documentation from vendors.
- Assist with Form 1099 preparation.
- Mentor other Accounts Payable Associates.
+ Qualifications
- Preference for candidates with bachelor’s degree in accounting or three to five years of relevant experience.
- Understanding of AP vouchering, credit, and debit memos.
- Strong Excel skills
- Epicor experience a plus.
+ Working Environment
Generally, work is performed in an office environment with occasional job duties outside of the typical office setting needed during month-end.
+ Physical Requirements
- Interaction with people and technology while either standing or sitting.
- Must be able to communicate face-to-face and on the phone.

Salary: $25-$32 hourly, commensurate with experience
