Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare Customer dashboards on a weekly basis for internal and external purposes
  • Monitor project activities to identify areas of weakness and suggest measures to improve
  • Effectively and efficiently complete the month-end close process, including account analysis and reconciliation as well as recording journal entries.
  • Ensure all transactions are accounted for in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Participate in departmental meetings to gain insight into current and future projects and phases
  • Collaborate with various departments to analyze and resolve problems
  • Generate accurate, complete and timely reports at the request of management.
  • Support, enforce, and help implementation internal controls, process improvements and operational efficiencies identified by Corporate Controller and Assistant Corporate Controller.
  • Approach work and tasks with increasing analytical perspective to determine if results and amounts are reasonable and supported by other data. 
  • Special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent required.
  • At least 5 years of related experience.
  • Public accounting experience preferred.
  • Knowledge and thorough understanding of US GAAP.
  • Expertise with Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, lookup formulas, etc.
  • MRP/ERP experience
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and complete tasks with minimal supervision.

Working Environment

  • Generally works in an office environment, but may occasionally be required to perform job duties outside of the typical office setting.

Physical Requirements

  • Interaction with people and technology while either standing or sitting.
  • Must be able to communicate face-to-face and on the phone.

Salary Range: $95k-$115k, commensurate with experience
