We are seeking a skilled Crystal Reports Developer to join our team on a contract full-time basis, for a hybrid position in Chicago, IL. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining Crystal Reports based on business requirements, and playing a pivotal role in our MMIS application reporting module.
What You'll Do
Design, develop, and maintain Crystal Reports based on business requirements
Retrofit and redesign existing reports as per the business requirements
Develop an overall reporting strategy for the MMIS application reporting module
Collaborate with business users to gather reporting requirements and understand their needs
Optimize report performance and ensure data accuracy
Work with various data sources, including SQL databases, to extract and manipulate data for reporting purposes
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Crystal Reports issues
Develop and implement the best practices for report development and data visualization
Ensure reports meet quality standards and are delivered within project timelines
Document report specifications, processes, and guidelines
Provide end-user training as required
What You'll Need
Proven experience in Crystal Reports development
Strong proficiency with SQL and working with databases
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
Experience in developing reporting strategies for MMIS applications
Familiarity with data visualization best practices
Prior experience providing end-user training
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
The pay range for this position is $80 - $90 per hour (USD). Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave as provided by applicable law.
