The National Account Manager is responsible for leading a remote national sales team to retain and generate sales revenue for checks, ACH, book entry, funds, electronic access and non-cash price services to achieve revenue and strategic goals. In this role, you will directly manage assigned accounts. Plan, direct, and implement various sales and customer efforts across the team. The level of work required is considered advanced and manager must be able to work under minimal supervision.
Your Responsibilities:
- Trains, supervises, establishes goals and provides guidance to staff; evaluates staff performance and creates development plans; recommends staff for promotion and salary actions
- Leads/participates in high impact/priority workgroups
- Manages internal and external stakeholder relationships from analysts to senior executives
- May use influence and expertise to drive policy and procedure decisions
- Sales Manages the sales team to promote and sell new and existing products and services to achieve System sales objectives
- Ensures team maintains an integrated and coordinated calling program that includes effectively communicating with customers and documenting these interactions
- Evaluates qualitative sales input to support product development and market research initiatives Identifies and communicates opportunities for strategic improvements in services/products or the quality of service based on customer interactions
- Responsible for meeting individual sales, revenue and strategic goals for assigned accounts
- Develops comprehensive sales and marketing plan for assigned accounts to meet FRFS and customer strategic goals and address competitive environment in conjunction with National Account Director
Your Background:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 7 or more years of relevant work experience
- Independent thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Must be able to effectively manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and deliver superior results
- Possess and apply advanced knowledge of principles and practices of sales management to the completion of assignments
- Strong knowledge of the Federal Reserve System and the products, services, practices and procedures of the FR Financial Services
- Possess a high level of product knowledge, and awareness of competitive forces within the banking industry
- Ability to work collaboratively to accomplish the goals and objectives of the System and CRSO
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid driver's license
- Up to 40%-60% travel required

Additional Requirements:
- This position may be remote or hybrid, requiring a minimum of two days per week in office based on geographic location.
