This Specialist position is part of the Commercial & Regulated Products department located in Coralville, Iowa and will be onsite. At IDT, we are one global team. We celebrate our differences, engage in healthy debate, and are inclusive. Together, we accomplish great things.
Shift: Friday-Sunday (7:00 am – 8:00 pm)
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Identify and implement formulation process improvements
- Work in a cross-functional role collaborating with both leadership and lab technicians
- Document procedures used for each product in custom software or by other controlled methods
- Create and maintain work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOP) and device master records (DMR) that meet customer requirements
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Education: Minimum associates degree or equivalent in a science related field or equivalent by relevant experience (i.e., at least 2 years related experience).
- Experience: Minimum 12 months lab experience and preferred experience as an IDT Tech III or above
- Additional Knowledge and Skills: Experience in two DBS tools.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- A bachelor's degree in a science related field is preferred.
- Extensive computer skills which include knowledge of the Internet, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- HPLC
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
