Freedom Technology Solutions Groups is seeking a Cross Domain Engineer with network engineering expertise to design cross domain solutions; evaluate new technologies and products; calculate system capacity; track system changes; and execute functional testing.
What you’ll get to do:
- Lead the security design and engineering of cross domain solutions.
- Perform analysis of alternatives for new data flows.
- Identify solution constraints and evaluation criteria.
- Prepare design packages with complex integration to multiple systems.
- Update design documents to address new information or lessons learned from deployments and operational activities.
- Create technical point papers for CDS related topics.
- Collects requirements from stakeholders.
- Schedule/attend Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs) to discuss /whiteboard design and implementation details.
- Coordinates implementation approach and timeline with technical and project management staff.
- Compile and provide additional information to support government strategy planning.
- Actively participate on integrated teams.
- Train Cross Domain engineers on new technologies.
Qualifications you’ll bring:
- Active Security Clearance.
- DoD Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II
- Ability to successfully pass and maintain a Government Polygraph (post-hire requirement)
- Bachelor's Degree in a Technical Field and Six (6) years of experience working as an engineer working in application, system and network Cyber Security
- Experience working with Cross Domain Solutions
- Experience with system accreditation and operational support for CDSs.
- Experience developing systems, products, and/or processes based on a total systems perspective.
Qualifications that are nice to have:
- Juniper certification
