Overview 

We are seeking a strategic and technically proficient CRM Solution Architect with deep experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM to lead the architecture, roadmap, and evolution of our enterprise CRM platform. This role partners closely with business analysts, operational teams, developers, and business stakeholders to design and deliver scalable, high-impact solutions that align with business processes and enterprise standards. 

This is a high-visibility role that combines technical expertise with business acumen to ensure Dynamics 365 CRM is optimized to drive growth, operational efficiency, and customer success. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Requirement Gathering & Analysis: 
    Collaborate with business analysts and operations teams to discover, collect, refine, and prioritize detailed problem statement, process, and business requirements aligned with Microsoft Dynamics 365 capabilities. 
  • Solution Design & Implementation: 
    Architect end-to-end solutions in Dynamics 365 CRM, including business context, data model design, workflows, business rules, Power Platform usage, and integration points. Produce design documents, entity relationship diagrams, and technical specifications using Dynamics best practices and patterns. Work closely with CRM administrators and Dynamics developers to guide solution implementation, best practices, review configurations, and ensure design integrity across customizations, plugins, workflows, and integrations. 
  • Delivery Coordination: 
    Oversee the lifecycle of major functionality releases—including testing, UAT coordination, integration validation, and go-live activities—ensuring alignment with other enterprise systems such as ERP, marketing automation, and support platforms. 
  • Roadmap Planning & Prioritization: 
    Manage and maintain a forward-looking CRM roadmap, prioritizing initiatives based on business impact, effort estimates, technical complexity, and resource capacity. Coordinate structured releases in Dynamics 365, working with internal teams to deploy, test, and monitor new features and updates. 
  • Stakeholder Management: 
    Serve as the key point of contact for CRM strategy, presenting roadmaps, progress, and solution tradeoffs to stakeholders across the business. 
  • Documentation & Continuous Improvement: 
    Maintain comprehensive CRM documentation, including architecture, process flows, and solution design. Identify opportunities to reduce technical debt, improve data quality, and enhance user adoption of Dynamics CRM. 

 

Required Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years of experience designing and implementing solutions in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM (Customer Engagement) 
  • Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 architecture, including customizations, entities, security model, business process flows, and integration strategies 
  • Experience with Power Platform, including Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI, for extending CRM capabilities 
  • Uses active listening, critical thinking, and storytelling methods to discover requirements with business stakeholders.  Have a problem-solving mindset. 
  • Familiarity with Dataverse and model-driven app design 
  • Experience integrating Dynamics 365 with third-party systems (e.g., ERP, marketing platforms, support systems) using tools such as Azure Logic Apps, Data Export Service, or custom APIs 
  • Strong documentation skills and ability to communicate complex solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences 
  • Experience with Agile delivery methodologies, roadmap planning, and release management for enterprise software 
  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., Dynamics 365 + Power Platform Solution Architect, Power Platform Functional Consultant, Dynamics 365 Customer Service Functional Consultant) strongly preferred 

 

Preferred Skills: 

  • Experience in a SaaS or high-growth enterprise environment 
  • Familiarity with Azure ecosystem (Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, Logic Apps) as it relates to CRM integrations 
  • Understanding of Dynamics 365 Customer Insights, Marketing, or Field Service modules 
  • Background in operational or customer-facing business process design

The Salary Range for this role is $120,000 - $160,000. At AvePoint, we strive to offer competitive, fair, and equitable total rewards. The listed salary range represents a good faith estimate, with final offers based on location, experience, skills, and qualifications. The listed range reflects base salary only; our total rewards include base salary, comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, unlimited PTO), and depending on the role, bonuses, commissions, or equity (RSUs).
