The Lifecycle Marketing team at MyFitnessPal collaborates with all business units to help drive our business forward and help our users achieve their goals, while at the same time running their own experiments to drive subscriptions and engagement..

This is a hands-on role for someone who has deep technical knowledge of Braze, understands data platforms, and is hands-on in trouble-shooting issues for the team and cross-functional stakeholders.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Document CRM processes, naming conventions, and governance standards to maintain clean and reliable data across systems
  • Act as the Lifecycle Marketing point of contact with Data Engineering and MarTech for troubleshooting, monitoring data pipelines, and validating new integrations
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities that streamline workflows and reduce manual tasks

  • Manage segmentation, dynamic content, and automation logic in Braze to support targeted, behavior-based messaging
  • Develop reusable templates and modular components that increase campaign speed, consistency, and scalability

Campaign Execution & Project Management

  • Develop and maintain a source of truth for what campaigns and canvases are currently running, what’s up next, and what has been stopped
  • Help keep the team on track and on time for high priority deliverables
  • Support the setup and QA of complex lifecycle campaigns and triggered journeys in Braze
  • Conduct rendering and link testing, ensuring all messages meet creative, technical, and deliverability standards
  • Assist with dynamic content and data-driven configurations for advanced campaigns
  • Execute on Ads team campaigns across email and IAMs
Qualifications to be successful in this role:
  • 4 - 6+ years of experience in CRM, Lifecycle Marketing, or Marketing Operations, ideally in consumer tech or subscription-based consumer product
  • Advanced working knowledge of Braze, including Canvas orchestration, Connected Content, and Liquid logic for personalization
  • Proficiency in HTML/CSS and basic JavaScript for complex email and in-app message development and troubleshooting
  • Working knowledge of SQL or comparable tools to validate data and support CRM operations
  • Solid understanding of CRM data structures (events, attributes, subscription states, segmentation)
  • Adoption of the latest AI tools in Braze and Claude to support efficiency and effectiveness of your work
  • Excellent attention to detail, process discipline, and cross-functional communication skills

Values you’ll model

  • Be Kind and Care — build with empathy; assume positive intent; support teammates and members.
  • Live Good Health — champion healthy habits and balance in how we work and what we ship.
  • Be Data-Inspired — ground decisions in research and data; measure what matters.
  • Champion Change — lean into ambiguity; iterate, learn, and improve continuously.
  • Leave it Better than You Found It — raise quality, clarify systems, and document as you go.
