This role requires a strategic and analytical mindset, strong project management skills, and a passion for enhancing customer engagement across multiple channels including email, SMS, in-product notifications, and push notifications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive customer success and business growth.
What you'll do:

  • Develop and Execute CRM Strategies:
  • Own and optimize the customer journey from lead capture to revenue generation.
  • Develop and implement onboarding strategies that integrate with the product experience and are personalized to key customer segments
  • Establish prospecting tactics that help to capture leads from site traffic and convert these leads to sign ups through email and SMS channels
  • Define and execute strategies to maximize revenue through email, SMS, and push communications
  • Create and execute a communication calendar that delivers evergreen educational content, supports product launches, and aligns to key moments in the year
  • Customer Engagement and Retention:
  • Increase engagement and retention rates through targeted CRM campaigns
  • Manage and optimize email databases and other CRM tools
  • Build and manage email workflows, leveraging triggers and events to segment audiences
  • Refine and expand our existing set of automated and scheduled transactional campaigns, ensuring personalized and relevant communications
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work with product, marketing, and other teams to promote products effectively
  • Build quarterly plans for CRM channels that align to company and team OKRs
  • Champion the brand, ensuring all communications align with brand guidelines
  • Partner with marketing teams to ensure deadlines are met and campaigns are delivered to the highest quality standards
  • Data-Driven Decision Making:
  • Conduct multivariate tests to improve lead activation, customer retention, and overall customer experience
  • Build and update dashboards reporting on customer success and revenue metrics
  • Use performance analytics to make informed, data-driven decision.
  • Proactively monitor and report lifecycle campaign performance, conducting A/B testing to optimize content, timing, and strategies


What you'll bring:

  • Experience:
  • 7+ years of post grad experience in a professional environment
  • 5-7 years of experience in CRM or lifecycle marketing, with a focus on email, SMS, and push notifications
  • Proven experience in managing large and complex retention marketing campaigns
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Skills:
  • In-depth understanding of CRM systems and how they can be used to nurture, activate, and retain customers
  • Strong copywriting skills with the ability to create compelling email content
  • Proficiency with CRM and marketing tools such as Iterable, Segment, Mixpanel, SendGrid, and/or Twilio
  • Proficiency with marketing tools such as Appcues, Mixpanel, Digioh, Prismic
  • Experience with project management tools such as Airtable or Jira
  • Deep understanding of the buyer cycle and how to influence buyer behavior
  • Knowledge of email marketing best practices from contact strategy to creative iteration, from testing setup to result sharing.
  • Experience working with performance analytics to make data-driven decisions.


Nice to have:

  • Experience with product-led growth models.
  • Background in residential real estate investing, property management, or landlording.
  • Knowledge of the real estate and/or proptech landscape.
  • Agency and/or in-house marketing experience
  • Technical proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for email design and functionality
