This candidate much be Berlin based for occasional travel to our Berlin office.
What You'll Do:
- Design and develop responsive email templates that align with our brand identity and engage our audience across different devices and email clients.
- Write clear and engaging copy for emails (English), aligning with brand voice.
- Ensure pixel-perfect execution of email designs, focusing on mobile responsiveness, accessibility, and overall UX best practices.
- Develop HTML and CSS-based email templates, leveraging modular components and reusable elements to maintain consistency and efficiency in email production.
- Optimize email designs for deliverability and performance, considering load times, dark mode compatibility, and various email client rendering quirks.
- Collate translations and set up localisation automation to personalize content across different languages and regions.
- Set up, test, and schedule email campaigns using internal tools, SendGrid, and Iterable, ensuring smooth execution and error-free deployment.
What You'll Bring:
- 1+ years of experience in email marketing
- Excellent design eye
- Ability to write hooky, engaging email copy in English
- Strong HTML/CSS skills with experience building responsive email templates
- Photoshop skills
- Proficiency in major ESP platforms
- Portfolio demonstrating both design and html capabilities
- Knowledge of JavaScript for interactive email elements
