Leidos currently has an opening for a Crisis Solution Manager to support a large healthcare contract in Baltimore.
This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid mission. In this mission we perform a variety of activities related to IT Crisis Management. Works within the EOC (Enterprise Operations Center) and assumes operational authority for resolving Severity 1 Crisis situations within company and customer policies/procedures. The Crisis Solution Manager (CSM) will assess technical situations meeting Severity 1 criteria and provide effective leadership to the mobilized triage team consisting of Technical Subject Matter Experts in various technical disciplines.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide professional and effective technical leadership under high stress/high impact IT (Crisis) situations. This role involves provision of technical authority to a mobilized triage team, assessing the technical situation, and providing effective resolution leadership to the technical staff. Must maintain detailed knowledge of customer(s) mission and IT service support needs within a major data center environment. Position will have key involvement within IT Change Management, IT system architectural design, new business proposal input, and demonstrate expert level technical skill in a number of IT disciplines. Must provide professional Customer Service to executive and director level customers, must have professional written and verbal communication skills, and strong technical judgement skills as it relates to any given IT crisis situation. Strong collaboration/negotiation skills to obtain desired outcomes are required. Additional duties and responsibilities are:
- Ability to direct, engineer, obtain major incident resolutions in complex data center environments
- Provide Stakeholder communication (Status Updates) in complete and brief fashion
- Provide detailed account (written) of issue and resolution to the Solution Management team for optimization follow up
- Ensure performance and availability SLAs are met or exceeded.
Required Education/Experience:
BS degree and 8 – 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 – 10 years of prior relevant experience. Experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
Required Skills:
Technical knowledge in a number of the following: Server Administration (Windows, Linux, UNIX), Cisco based networks, Firewall technologies, WebSphere, Mainframe (z/OS, z/VM), Storage systems, Data Center Operations
- Good – Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage conflict effectively.
- Ability to adapt and be productive in a dynamic environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills supporting multiple stakeholders and business operations.
- Self-starter, self-managed, and a team player.

Required Clearance
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance

Pay Range:Pay Range $89,700.00 - $162,150.00
