We are seeking detail-oriented Retail Analysts to support financial oversight of retail operations, with a focus on cash and credit card reconciliations and analysis. This role is responsible for collating, summarizing and reviewing operational data, identifying discrepancies, and supporting financial accuracy across store operations. The position is well suited for an early-career finance or accounting professional who enjoys working with data, performing reconciliations, and identifying operational variances.
Key Responsibilities- Perform recurring reconciliations between financial records and operational systems
- Investigate discrepancies and assist in resolving reconciling items
- Maintain reconciliation schedules and supporting documentation
- Analyze differences between expected and reported treasury balances
- Identify unusual trends, operational inconsistencies, or data discrepancies
- Prepare variance summaries and supporting documentation for internal review
- Review and organize retail operational data across multiple reporting sources
- Validate data accuracy within financial spreadsheets and reporting files
- Assist with recurring operational and financial reports
- Support month-end close activities related to cash or treasury accounts
- 0–3 years of experience in accounting, finance, retail operations, or data analysis
- Strong Excel and spreadsheet skills
- High attention to detail and data accuracy
- Ability to review and organize large datasets
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
- Interest in retail operations and financial controls
- Ability to investigate discrepancies and resolve issues
- Strong reliability and ability to manage recurring analytical tasks
- Billingual (Spanish/English)
Base Salary: $38,000 – $45,000
Bonus: Up to 5% annual bonus
