Role: Senior SDET Engineer
Location: Pune (Hybrid)
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our Banking Technology team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automation testing of microservices-based applications deployed on Azure Cloud, along with strong domain expertise in Trade Settlement, Custody Services, or Capital Markets.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze business and functional requirements and translate them into detailed test scenarios and test cases.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for API, UI, and integration testing.
Perform end-to-end testing of microservices-based applications within cloud environments.
Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and DevOps teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
Participate in requirement gathering, sprint planning, estimation, and test strategy discussions.
Build and execute automated regression, functional, integration, and API test suites.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery.
Identify, track, and resolve defects while ensuring high-quality releases.
Contribute to test framework enhancements and automation best practices.
Mandatory Technical Skills
9+ years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation.
Strong hands-on experience with Java coding.
Expertise in Selenium WebDriver.
Strong experience in API Automation using Rest Assured.
Hands-on experience with Cucumber (BDD) and TestNG.
Experience with Maven build management.
Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture testing.
Experience working on Azure Cloud environments.
CI/CD pipeline experience using Jenkins and/or GitHub Actions.
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience with source code repositories such as Git/GitHub.
Mandatory Domain Experience
