JOB SUMMARY:

The Cremeria Lead's role is to assist and support the Cremeria Department -- by providing a high level of customer service and practice safe food handling procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Ensures cremeria products are sliced and available.
• Product pricing.
• Ensures product's quality, protections, accuracy, and proper rotation in coolers.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation requirements.
• Ensures great customer service.
• Keeps cremeria displays clean and presentable.
• Store cleaning supplies properly.
• Advertising department products.
• Responsible for receiving, unloading, stocking, filling, and rotating merchandise.
• Verifies cases, coolers, and refrigerators temperatures.
• Department's personnel weekly schedules.
• Supervises department's personnel.
• Completes department's checklist every 4 hours.
• Responsible for product orders and inventory.
• Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• 1+ years meat department experience

• The work environment is that typical of an office and retail store. The noise level ranges from quiet to loud.
• Heavy work: Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
• The worker is subject to inside environmental conditions: Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes. Walk and work in Freezer and Refrigerator Cooler as needed throughout the day.
