You will join as a Credit Structurer, working with the Insurance Solutions and Financing trading desk, which sits within our Credit Solutions business.

Credit Structuring is a team of over 30 people, whose role is to devise, help originate and execute structured finance transactions of various types. Credit Structuring works with various trading desks within Deutsche Bank’s Global Financing and Credit Trading division, including Direct Lending, Infrastructure & Energy, Global Transportation Financing, Asset-Backed Securities (ABS), Portfolios and Credit Solutions.

Insurance Solutions and Financing pursues various strategies with some insurance risk components.

Your key responsibilities

• Creation and implementation of insurance-wrapped financing structures for financial assets (including fund units) in varying formats
• Financing of later life lending products, including Equity Release Mortgages
• Providing debt financing to insurance holding companies, including under private equity ownership
• Solutions trades for insurers, intended to address some capital, liquidity or other technical requirements

Your skills and experience

• Front office markets background
• Structured finance experience gained in an investment bank or investment fund
• Securitisation experience would also be helpful, but not a requirement. Some experience with insurance/ insurers a positive but not a requirement
• Strong technical and financial modelling skills
• Ability to work on all aspects of a transaction (dealing with clients, devising structure, working with external counsel on documentation, handling internal approval processes)
• good interpersonal skills and the ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced markets environment
