Location: Davenport, IA
Duration: Long Term Contract
Pay rate: $21.34/hr.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and take appropriate action on past due active and final accounts.
- Handle escalated customer contacts related to credit issues with professionalism and accuracy.
- Conduct credit review workflow exceptions in the customer service system (e.g., disconnection reviews, balance transfers, unpaid non-service items).
- Communicate with property owners, external agencies, and vendors regarding account status and collections.
- Notify and follow up with customers on final bills, payment arrangements, and balance transfers.
- Interpret and apply credit policies, tariffs, administrative rules, and regulatory requirements.
- Document and maintain accurate customer account records in the customer information system.
- Perform additional credit-related responsibilities as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Previous call center, credit and collection experience strongly preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively handle difficult customer issues.
