At Xometry, we're revolutionizing the manufacturing industry with our AI-driven marketplace. We're seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Credit Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll play a critical part in maintaining our financial health by evaluating credit risks and making data-driven decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Able to work Monday and Tuesday 8am to 5pm and Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 12pm to 8pm
- Assess creditworthiness of new and existing customers using Dun and Bradstreet
- Analyze payment history, financial statements, and shipping trends to determine credit limit increases
- Create and maintain accurate customer credit files
- Create Profoma invoices and maintain a log
- Process incoming credit card payments daily
- Manage Government credit card customers
- Settle credit card payments to invoices
- Maintain customer billing profiles ex: net terms, name, address, email and phone number
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in credit analysis or risk assessment
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Proficiency in financial modeling and credit scoring tools
- Detail-oriented with high accuracy in data entry and analysis
- Problem-solving aptitude to craft creative solutions in challenging situations
- Knowledge of credit laws and industry best practices
- Experience with CRM software and financial databases
- Manufacturing industry experience is a plus
