Wells Fargo Bank N.A. seeks a Credit Risk Senior Manager in Irving, TX.
Job Role and Responsibility:
Lead and develop a team of individual contributors and less experienced managers with low to moderate complexity and risk. Source and hire talented employees, recognize and develop employees, provide ongoing coaching and feedback, identify and manage risks, and complete daily management tasks. Oversee initiatives, analysis, and ongoing processes to drive credit culture, appetite, and business performance with input from senior leadership within a single function/line of business specific role. Identify and recommend opportunities for developing and implementing strategic initiatives and processes. Make decisions and resolve issues regarding assessing and predicting risk and performance through business analysis and modeling. Interpret and develop policies and procedures for measurable impact on the level of risk taken in credit activities with low to moderate complexity within scope of responsibility. Influence key stakeholders through impactful written and oral communication. Develop and optimize underwriting strategies across unsolicited channels, build business cases to enhance risk management and customers experience, and contribute to sustainable and profitable business growth. Collaborate with finance, product, and marketing partners to assess profitability of originations by channels/products. Create and share monitoring reporting and diagnostics on various performance information (i.e. credit, vintage, product, offer, channel, mix, delinquency, loss rate, usage, revenue, and profitability) - informing line strategy decisions. Collaborate with product, marketing, system/technology, finance, compliance, and other cross functional card business areas to develop risk strategies for current and new products. Conduct comprehensive analyses to ensure timely monitoring of risk strategy efficiency and accuracy - minimizing credit/operating losses as well as reputation/compliance risk exposure. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, business policy, and standards. Stay at the leading edge of emerging trends and capabilities in the domains of consumer, device, and location fraud detection and prevention, with emphasis on digital. Collaborate with various credit, deposit, and product groups as well as with external vendors to develop effective ways to manage new account decisions - leveraging best practices and new data/tools. Remote / telecommute work available, up to 2 days per week. Position must appear in person at the location listed as the work address.

Required Qualifications:
Degree required: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
Amount and type of experience required: Seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or in a related position involving risk management experience.
Specific skills required:
• Experience in analyzing and summarizing large datasets, and suitably presenting results of complex statistical and quantitative data analysis in the aid of developing and executing credit strategies; • Experience in the utilization of data warehousing software such as Teradata SQL Assistant, Windows SAS, SAS Enterprise Guide and SQL Server to collect, manipulate, analyze and summarize data to develop and execute credit strategies; • Experience with Risk Management Decision Making supported by data driven and statistical analyses; • Experience with the development of Financial Valuation models for Originations or Portfolio Management; • Experience with utilizing credit bureau information in Risk Management; • Advanced Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, etc.) skills; • Knowledge and understanding of different statistical and non-statistical Modeling techniques and the use of Models in developing business strategies; • Ability to utilize Excel or Tableau reporting tools to develop comprehensive monitoring frameworks; and • Knowledge of retail credit processes and products, incorporating Credit Risk Assessment/ Management and Profitability/Sensitivity Analysis.
