Job Title: Credit Risk Analyst

What does a successful Credit Risk Analyst do? At Fiserv, a successful Credit Risk Analyst plays an integral role in maintaining the integrity and security of financial transactions. The role involves using cutting-edge technologies and industry expertise to monitor and prevent fraud while aligning with regulatory and card scheme requirements. What you will do:

• Review transactions to identify any suspicious or fraudulent activity within merchant processing.
• Perform in-depth risk-based reviews on transaction monitoring cases, analyze trends, and mitigate risks with clear and concise narratives.
• Provide fraud education to merchants.
• Manage and understand reputational risks that may arise from merchant activity.
• Ensure swift action is taken and all information is submitted to comply with regulatory requirements.
• Undertake reviews, implement adverse actions, and conduct negotiations if required.

What you will need to have:

• Knowledge of transaction monitoring and fraud prevention.
• Understanding of personal credit reports, business financial statements, and chargeback and disputes processes.
• Detail oriented with a logical and analytical mind.
• Ability to interact effectively and positively with stakeholders, partners, vendors, and clients.
• Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in PC applications, including MS Office.

What would be great to have:

• Knowledge of card scheme rules and regulations.
• Experience within risk management, preferably within the acquiring domain.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to financial crime.
