Join a dynamic Credit Resolution team where you'll play a critical role in managing a portfolio of criticized and classified commercial credits across Wholesale Banking. In this position, you will assess the financial performance and creditworthiness of companies, analyze industry trends, and provide recommendations that support strategic credit decisions. You'll leverage sound judgment to evaluate business, operational, and risk-related challenges, develop solutions to complex credit situations, and contribute to risk mitigation strategies. Success in this role requires strong analytical capabilities, effective collaboration, and the ability to build trusted partnerships with relationship managers, stakeholders, and clients while developing expertise in credit resolution, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
In this Role, You Will
- Manage a portfolio of criticized and classified assets consisting of less complex credits and products across Wholesale Banking lines of business.
- Analyze company and industry performance and provide recommendations to senior relationship managers.
- Evaluate business, operational, and technical challenges through research, analysis, and assessment of alternative solutions to support moderately complex risk-related deliverables.
- Develop and present recommendations to resolve complex credit situations while building expertise in Credit Resolution policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate closely with Credit Resolution partners, internal stakeholders, and customers to support effective risk management and portfolio outcomes.
- 2+ years of Credit Resolution experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
- 2+ years of commercial or corporate lending experience in a credit-intensive role.
- BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Prior experience in commercial or corporate workouts, special assets, or credit resolution.
- Working knowledge of loan documentation, including credit agreements, intercreditor agreements, and related legal documents.
- Ability to gather, analyze, package, and present findings in a clear, logical, and insightful manner.
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize competing responsibilities, meet deadlines, and achieve goals in a dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
- Ability to work from one of the approved locations listed in the job posting.
