Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Credit Ops to support our lending operations and ensure timely collections from borrowers. The ideal candidate should have experience in loan operations, customer coordination, payment follow-ups, and MIS reporting.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Lending Operations
- Process loan disbursements and documentation.
- Verify customer documents and maintain accurate loan records in the LOS/LMS.
- Manage loan bookings, repayment schedules, and operational data.
- Coordinate with Credit, Finance, Sales, and Legal teams for seamless execution.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Collections
- Monitor repayment schedules and overdue accounts.
- Follow up with customers via calls, emails, and WhatsApp for collections.
- Negotiate repayment commitments and escalate delinquent accounts as required.
- Coordinate with collection agencies and maintain collection MIS and ageing reports.
Operations Support
- Prepare operational and collection MIS reports.
- Reconcile collections with bank records.
- Resolve customer queries related to loan servicing and repayments.
- Identify process gaps and support operational improvements.
Must-have competencies:
- Graduate in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in collections, loan operations, customer service, or lending operations in a bank, NBFC, fintech, or financial institution.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong follow-up and customer handling abilities.
- Attention to detail and process orientation.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic formulas).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Nice to have competencies:
- Exposure to business loans, invoice financing, supply chain finance, or MSME lending is preferred.

Skills Required
