Job Summary
The Credit Operations Support Specialist is essential in streamlining the commercial and mortgage lending process. This role involves preparing document and boarding requests for credit operations specialists, while managing servicing, collateral, imaging and other administrative tasks. By ensuring accuracy and efficiency in these areas, this position supports the seamless functioning of the department.
Essential Functions
Employees must be able to perform the essential functions of this position satisfactorily or make a request for reasonable accommodations as needed.
- Log, prepare, and prioritize requests for loan documents, boarding and payments. This includes but is not limited to ordering flood determinations, good standing certificates, and determining MLA status.
- Supports the escrow function with tasks including but not limited to researching property taxes, processing insurance invoices, reviewing and preparing escrow statements for mailing, assisting with insurance provider rating reviews and imaging tasks relating to this function.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls with borrowers regarding escrow matters, including communication with insurance companies when necessary.
- Responsible for administrative tasks including but not limited to answering phone calls, monitoring and routing messages received in group email boxes, opening and sorting mail, preparing cashier’s checks, reviewing payments and assisting with outgoing mail.
- Extracting and/or preparing various reports requiring review but not limited to workstation balancing and sweep reports.
- Performs administrative functions as needed and other duties as assigned.
