This critical role serves as the operational and strategic bridge between Global Markets Operations, Global Banking Operations, and the Front Office. As our Credit Trading Middle Officer, you will be instrumental in:
- Ensuring seamless onboarding of new business initiatives.
- Effectively managing client and internal requests.
- Proactively mitigating operational risks.
- Driving efficiency through continuous process improvements and IT enhancements.
- Augmenting day-to-day operations support of Primary and Secondary activity in Credit Markets

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Act as a transversal liaison, fostering seamless coordination and communication between Global Banking Operations, Global Market Operations, and the Front Office, and amend bookings as needed
- Support Head of Credit Middle Office across different products such as: Corporate Bonds, Loans, Primary and Secondary ABS/CLO, Syndication, Origination, and Structured Credit Products.
- Lead New Product/New Activity (NPNA) onboarding, serving as the primary coordinator to ensure smooth integration of new business within Operations.
- Be the Ops point of contact, managing and responding to client and business requests with efficiency and accuracy.
- Identify, address, and escalate Operational Risk incidents, implementing robust processes to detect, mitigate, and resolve operational risks.
- Collaborate on IT enhancements, partnering with IT to deliver impactful projects that strengthen operational resilience and boost efficiency.
- Represent Operations in key forums, serving as the Operations representative on the Credit bi-weekly IT task force, ensuring IT priorities align with critical business needs.
- Leverage risk monitoring tools, utilizing the Front Office monitoring risk tool (BRICKS) for proactive risk identification and mitigation.
- Support PnL reconciliation, investigating and resolving booking discrepancies identified by Global Banking Operations to ensure accurate Profit and Loss reporting.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required. An advanced degree or relevant certifications are a significant plus.
- Product Expertise and Experience: 5-8 years of experience in Credit Markets, Operations, and/or Securitization. Proven familiarity with underwriting, origination, and syndication processes for all Credit products (ABS, CLO, Corp Bonds, Loans, Synthetic Financing and Structured Notes, CDS), as well as experience with Billing and Delivery activities.
- Systems Knowledge: Knowledge of Trafic and Summit is a significant advantage, including experience with Credit Bonds, loans, CDS trade capture, and risk systems. Familiarity with Clearpar and Loan IQ systems is a strong advantage.
- Risk & Problem Solving: Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven track record of mitigating operational risk.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and relationship management skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with Front Office teams, clients, and various support functions.
- Regulatory Requirements: Covered Functions in a regulated Broker-Dealer require the Series 99 license.

The salary range for this Vice President position will be between $120,000 - $140,000. Natixis is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Actual base salary will vary and will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, skills set, applicable licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Base salary is only one component of our total rewards package. Natixis also offers a generous benefits package, and you may be eligible for a discretionary incentive award depending on company and individual performance
