About the role - Mō te tūranga
As a Credit Controller, you will manage the company’s credit and collections processes to ensure timely payments and minimize bad debt. This includes assessing creditworthiness, setting credit limits, and resolving payment issues. You will also collaborate with internal teams to support the financial health of the business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing the creditworthiness of potential and existing clients.
- Set and review credit limits based on financial analysis and risk assessment.
- Monitor outstanding balances and ensure timely collection of payments.
- Develop and implement effective collection strategies.
- Identify and mitigate potential credit risks.
What will you bring? – Ōu Pūkenga?
We are looking for a driven individual with strong analytical and financial assessment skills, excellent communication and negotiation abilities, and high attention to detail.
Additionally, you will bring:
- 3-5 years of experience in credit control or a similar role.
- Background in transport and logistics industry is highly desirable
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
