SoFi's card business aims to offer competitive and differentiated credit cards to existing members and to consumers in the open market. In this role, you will lead the credit card segments for SoFi.
You will define the credit card value proposition and pricing for the prime and member segments in the role. You will work with cross-functional partners including marketing, credit risk, and data science partners to define a targeting strategy that optimizes customer value, risk, and returns.
You will be accountable for the segment growth trajectory and profitability in your role.

  • Define and own the value proposition (incl. Product, Rewards, & Pricing), in collaboration with our marketing and product teams
  • Own the P&L for the SoFi credit card segments
  • Work closely with marketing and credit risk partners to develop & refine a targeting strategy (framework, models) that results in profitable and resilient new account originations
  • Analyze segment performance at the portfolio level and by vintage to drive insights and optimization
  • Hold an oversight role on key business decisions and tech requirements for critical projects
  • Build a Test & Learn agenda, in collaboration with cross-functional partners, to optimize product and pricing for the segments. Develop analytical insights from historical testing
  • Monitor competitive activity and competitive offers by channel, and incorporate insights into go-forward strategies
  • Develop and provide regular reporting and business updates on segment performance, including to senior and executive leadership
  • Develop and execute durable business plans with clear requirements, constraints, ownership, and deliverables
  • Drive alignment and buy-in on solutions and strategies to meet the needs of the members and business goals
  • Organize, manage, and plan complex projects and programs



  • 15+ years of related experience preferred
  • Expert change management skills and experience developing and driving project plans that address member needs and expand market share
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively influence departmental and cross-functional teams focused on delivering new or upgrading existing products
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to tailor communication to varying audiences to enable key partners and stakeholders to deliver as one team
  • Founders Mentality (action orientation, high sense of ownership, problem-solving mentality, hands-on management)
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to distill complex information into their most fundamental truths
  • Proven ability to deliver critical initiatives in partnership with cross-functional teams
  • Develop clarity and structure in a dynamic environment
  • Credit Card segment experience
  • Sound understanding of credit card economics and credit risk dynamics
  • Prior experience running complex credit card analyses desired
  • Quantitative undergraduate degree preferred
  • Proficiency in SQL/Python preferred
